The Company has a balanced mix of crude oil, liquids-rich natural gas and resource play natural gas. The company is focused primarily on development and delineation of its world class Montney and Duvernay formations natural gas, liquids gas and light oil resource at the Minnelusa Sandstone formation and the Glacier in Alberta which is home to the third largest crude oil resource in the world, produces 2.5 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil of which about 78% is raw bitumen from oil sands. A large portion of the bitumen produced is upgraded to a lighter, more valuable synthetic crude oil (sco) that is provided to domestic and international refineries for further processing. Current production of natural gas in Alberta is approximately 4 tcf that is transported to both Canadian and US markets. |
